A netizen's account of being rescued during a dive in Indonesia has gone viral after she identified her rescuer as Chinese actor Zhang Tao, putting the story on trending lists.

According to her post, on her first day of diving in Maratua, her tank pressure had dropped to 70 bar. After signaling to the dive guide, she suddenly lost control of her buoyancy and began floating toward the surface. In the panic, a man on the same boat, a stranger she had never spoken to, leapt into action, grabbed her pressure gauge and, together with the guide, held her from either side until they reached the surface.
