欧阳娜娜，有新身份

Chinese cellist and actress Ouyang Nana has officially been named as the cultural tourism ambassador for Ji'an, Jiangxi province, according to a statement released by Ji'an Release on May 11.

Born in Taipei, China's Taiwan region, Ouyang's ancestral roots trace back to Laowuxia village, Hengjiang town of Ji'an. Expressing her gratitude, the cellist said she was honored to help promote her ancestral hometown and looks forward to introducing Ji'an's rich history, cultural heritage and natural beauty to broader audiences.

"I'm truly honored to serve as Ji'an's cultural tourism ambassador," she said."I will make full use of my strengths to let more people discover the unique charm of Ji'an and support the development of its cultural and tourism industries."

In March 2019, Ouyang Nana’s studio issued a statement affirming that she has always firmly believed she is Chinese and strongly supports the one-China principle. While her stance was met with criticism from some pro-independence voices in Taiwan, it also received positive responses and widespread recognition from the public.
